Journey: Wrath of Demons

In Journey: Wrath of Demons, four Pilgrims band together to search ancient China for the Sutras, sacred scriptures that will bring salvation to a world overrun with Demons. After fighting different Bull Demon minions, the climax of the game is the battle against the Bull Demon King. All components have been crafted to the highest quality, bringing the beautiful game world to life.

1 to 4 players control the four Pilgrims and the game’s AI controls the Demons and other creatures. Game cards and custom dice combine for fast, tense action and critical choices enhance the Pilgrims’ skills during the game. Around 10 quests are included, each taking about 30 minutes to 2 hours. Diverse playing styles are possible, always with a strong emphasis on cooperation. Do you ruthlessly hack and slash, killing all Demons in the Pilgrims’ path? Or take a more virtuous path, cleansing the Demons’ souls. Your decisions affect the Pilgrims’ abilities, skills and equipment.Solo play is enabled with no changes to the rules, 1 player simply controls all four Pilgrims.

A lot of effort has been made to create the best quality plastic miniatures, total of 33 miniatures included in the game.

Pilgrim Profile Sheets. These show character statistics and have sliders and wheels to track changing statistic values.

Demon Profile Sheets. These shows character statistics and presented with a beautifully painted miniatures as a background image.

Double side Game Tiles and Bridge Tiles. Map tiles represent different locations that the Pilgrims visit during the game. The tiles were carefully designed with a rich environment of Chinese Mythology and fantasy style.

Custom Dice. 4 different types of custom dice in the game represent Attack, Defense, Pilgrim and Demon.

Double-sided tokens. Demon Gates, Sutra, Mystical Box, Villagers, Water Well and Doors! It has enough tokens to play through the game or even for your custom mission.

Spinner, Fortune and Misfortune Cards. Are you feeling lucky? Use the spinner to determine whether you draw Fortune or Misfortune cards while Meditating at the Mystical box.

Weapon Cards. Each Pilgrim has a set of Weapon Cards that become more powerful as the Pilgrim gains proficiency with their weapon.

Condition Cards. These cards show different ongoing effects in the game.
